Taylor's Depot

Rustic Cabin

1 bedroom, 1 King size bed, 2 bath

This cabin has a mini fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, and ceiling fan. WIFI is available, some devices can access the signal from the cabin which is a few hundred feet from the main house. But cabin guests are welcome to hang out on the porch at the main house to access WIFI if desired. Other guests may be encountered on the porch but it is huge, and deck furniture is clustered with plenty of distance to maintain personal space if desired. 

This place offers stunning scenic views, well-appointed bathroom amenities, bedroom essentials, and convenient heating and cooling options. Safety features include security cameras, smoke alarms, and a fire extinguisher. Stay connected with WiFi and enjoy a mini fridge and coffee maker. The outdoor area features a fully fenced backyard, an open grassy space, a fire pit, and outdoor furniture. Guests benefit from free parking, a Level 2 EV charger, and the option for pets, assistance animals, luggage dropoff, and long-term stays.

About The Property...

In 2013 Tim began repairing, cleaning, cutting, clearing, remodeling and building on the property. The first major construction projects were the huge log porch and the timber wall that are now signature features of Fort Austin. Next, Tim remodeled the main lodge, finished deluxe apartments, built cabins, built grain bins, re-drilled the well, upgraded the utilities, built a timber barn and constructed the log pavilion. Building Fort Austin was hard work but truly a labor of love.
